What a lovely place! The photo’s cannot do justice to the incredible views from the top terrace, which is what makes this place so special. Massa is a beautiful town with its own beach and we made use of the tours running from its port rather than going to sorrento which was a bonus. That being said the bus journey to sorrento is very easy (around 20 minutes) and the apartment is very close to the bus stop. It is quite a steep walk down to the coast and so a tiring one back up in the heat, but we still thought it was definitely worth it. Amalia was so helpful as a host always quick to respond and gave helpful tips about some great beach spots. We would thoroughly recommend Amalia’s place to anyone looking for a relaxing stay just outside the very touristy centres of the beautiful Amalfi coast.
Appartamento stupendo. Molto meglio di quanto mostrano le foto. Consigliatissimo! Massa e una piccola città bellissima, e Massa Lubrense é come zona impossible da battere. Really nice apartment in three levels. Three terraces and two balconies… incredible. Better than the photos suggest! Highly recommended! Massa is a really nice small town in an even greater area: Massa Lubrense.
The beautiful apartment was one block from the main square, buses and tourist information. And there were cafes, food markets, restaurants and shopping even closer, next door and right across the street. Perfect location! Check in was a breeze, and the place was really spacious, clean and beautiful! It felt like you had a whole house with all different levels inside! They also had a washing machine which we really appreciated. And a huge bonus was the huge decks with amazing views! It’s a wonderful place and I would love to rent it again some time!
Apartment is surprisingly large and has 2 balconies overlooking the village and the doors open to allow lots of light and air in. It has quite a number of steps from the courtyard to the top floor but its well worth it for the light, space and views. The kitchen is basic and functional but there is plenty of space. The bathroom has a good shower.
There is a very large sun terrace with a barbeque and great views of capri and the sea, its out of the sun til the afternoon and so is great to stay out of the really hot sun until later in the day. There is a smaller terrace with a view over the town. Host was excellent , she arranged transport, gave us excellent advice and recommendations – she also works in the local tourist office and was able to provide us with timetables, guides etc
Massa Lubrense is an excellent base and has a couple of great cafes/restaurants, the bus service to sorrento is regular and only takes 15 mins at most. The village has a genuine italian feel. Sorrento is very busy so the village is a great alternative and the apartment is about 2 mins walk from the cafes, shops and bus stop, you can stop for an ice cream or a beer when coming back late from Sorrento.

Casa vacanze super attrezzata, è come stare a casa propria ma con un panorama sicuramente diverso. Di giorno si può ammirare il mare dalle mille sfumature e di sera al tramonto bere un aperitivo ghiacciato sul bellissimo e ampio terrazzo. Le stanze sono pulitissime molto grandi e luminose, con aria condizionata. Situata al centro di Massalubrense quindi qualsiasi cosa potrete trovare sotto casa. Insomma un posto da consigliare sia alla coppia che ad una famiglia di 5 persone. Super consigliato
Soggiorno perfetto: l’appartamento è bello e luminoso, molto pulito e dotato di tutto ciò che serve. Fare colazione e pranzare in terrazza è stato magnifico! A pochi passi ci sono pasticcerie, salumerie, bar, ristoranti e fermata dell’autobus. Anche il porto è facile da raggiungere e da lì si può andare a Capri ed in costiera Amalfitana. Torneremo sicuramente!
