BY TRAIN

From Naples to Sorrento, the Circumvesuviana rail line runs efficiently every half-hour from 6:09am to the last train at 10:42pm. It stops at Herculaneum, Pompeii, and Sorrento, with numerous stops in between.

CIRCUMVESUVIANA Trains Napoli – Sorrento

Tip: At € 5,00, the TIC ticket (buy the zone, or fascia U5) will get you from Naples to Sorrento, and then from Sorrento to Massa Lubrense centro by bus (EAV bus Line A).

Autobus EAV Line A (Massa Lubrense – Sorrento – Meta di Sorrento): every 30 minutes

BY FERRY/HYDROFOIL

There is an Alilauro hydrofoil leaving many times daily from Naples’s Molo Beverello to Sorrento Marina Piccola (35 min. € 12,30).

From Capri there are frequent hydrofoils to Sorrento Marina Piccola (40 min. € 18,30).

From Amalfi and Positano, during summertime, there are two connections daily to Sorrento Marina Piccola.

BY BUS

Autolinee Curreri Service runs about 10 buses daily from Napoli’s Capodichino Airport to Sorrento Circumvesuviana rail station (1hr. € 10,00).

Autolinee Marozzi runs one or two buses daily from Rome’s Tiburtina Station (4 hr. € 18,00).

SITA buses run along the coastal road between Amalfi and Sorrento, passing through Positano and Praiano, and connect the hamlets of Massa Lubrense.
